Injuries are overcome from several fronts

Focused physiotherapy treatments, a better training and racing plan, specific drills, a correct eating regime, but especially the athlete’s commitment and determination are needed to recover from injury. This is the basis for Yulia Baykova‘s recovery. The Vibram Trailrunning Team athlete is recovering perfectly from an injury to the left leg flexor, which has hindered her performances for the past few seasons.

Consequently, Yulia reached out to the Physiotrailrun team to face and overcome her injury, with an multi-pronged action plan. She received a personalised plan, including Human Tecar anti-muscle ageing treatments, running technique drills on the track and controlled proprioceptive exercises for the athlete to carry out in the studio and at home.

“The injury is not completely resolved yet; however, physiotherapy associated with Giovanni Bonarini‘s training is giving Yulia a chance to return to training and allowing her to plan her racing season”, said  Stefano Punzo.
